who out here loves sweets?? hoping that's a rhetorical question... for me, sweets are my weakness. i could eat any form of baked good all day every day. so because of said addiction, i figured "hey, why not find a sweet treat that is less bad for you so that i can eat them all the time and not feel bad about it??" - that's logical right? long story short, zucchini chocolate chip muffins are the answer!
so what makes this recipe "healthy"?? glad you asked! it uses:
- honey and bananas vs. white sugar (note: brown sugar is still used)
- coconut oil vs. butter
- wheat flour vs. bleached flour
just want to call out that this is not a vegan recipe (in case some vegan folks got their hopes up! sorry!!)
